Originally from Snowdonia north wales, ware I was home schooled by my parents and graduating from Goldsmiths in 2004 with my degree in textiles.

From Graduating I carried on my making process, and just a few week later after meeting back up with my best friend Buddugwyn Humphreys, we had got our selves a pitch to sell our goods at East Londons Broadway market and then four years ;ater we opened our first shop on Columbia rd....which is currently keeping me very busy but is a joy to run.

I create objects that can be displayed in the home and jewellery mainly inspired by and made with old books. The process of recycling is very important in my making process.
Using Papier machér from pages of books combined with stitching and embroidery of old fabric, I make small, functional and wearable pieces that reflects and creates my own story.
My current pieces are very much textile based, incorporating small found objects and pieces of worn jewellery, they are simple illustrations, embroidered directly in to the fabric or paper using only hand embroidery.

As much inspired by the traditional fairy tales and the writtings of the likes of Angela Carter, to my own childhood and memories of growing up in north wales

As well as making more commercial focussed work I still manage to create my one of cut book pieces and embroidered and illustrated books that I regularly exhibit in solo and group show in and outside london.

I am currently working on two new projects jessie chorley home a series of hand embroidered cushions and my wedding service to be launched early in 2010 it is an extension to the items I already create with more paper good invites and my new invention of personalised paper flowers.
