Jessie’s People’s Choice Award

My annual People’s Choice Award was launched in 2020. This award was created to
celebrate both YOU, my students, and the ongoing therapeutic work that I do as a social artist.

Each year, I set a project/theme for the award. The project is always one of my signature
DIY embroidery project designs. There are always three prizes and the winners are announced in
late August/early September each year (see below for exact dates for 2025).

All you have to do to take part is send me pictures of your completed versions
of the themed project.

I will then choose four of you to go head-to-head over a four-day period on my Instagram feed.
The photo with the most likes by YOU, the people judging, will be the overall winner.

The overall winner will receive a £50 digital gift voucher
The two runners-up will each receive a £25 digital gift voucher

The best news is that you can take part wherever you live in the world. Prizes will be emailed,
just after the winner is announced.

The featured project for 2025 is my slow stitch embroidery template titled

The Street

This design is available for you to purchase today via my online shop.

Please send me photos of your completed versions of the above project to jessiechorley@hotmail.com

Photos can also be sent through Instagram Direct Messenger . Be sure to include your full name and
email address with your photos. Make sure that you photos are clear and styled in a nice way! so they look beautiful for the competition.
I cant accept blurred and very tiny out of focus images!

The deadline for entries for 2025 is Sunday, 17th August 2025. All entries must be with me by midnight on this day/date.
I will then choose four entries at random and these will go head-to-head on my Instagram feed from
Thursday, 21st August until Sunday, 24th August 2025.
The winner will be announced on Monday, 25th August 2025.

Good luck and most of all happy Slow Stitching, folks!

Please note 2025 will be my final Peoples’s Choice award. It’s been fun! but its time for a change.
I want to focus on my teaching and I want to focus on my Patreon Page.
I will be starting to use my Patreon Page, to create a non competative home for everyone who enjoys working with me and my stitch kits and projects.
In the future, my Patreon Page will be dedicated to the ongoing, work which I do a social artist.
It will celebrate my love of teaching and sharing ideas in the stitching community.
